Electronic Toolbox

So my grade on Blackboard says that I got a zero for the "Web Presence" assignment...  Anyone else?  Did I do this wrong?  I'm so confused...

Also, for the lesson plans - do we have to include the PowerPoints and activities we're using with the lesson, or do we just write about them?

I'm a bit stressed about this and School Policy and Practice since I'm going to be gone!  Yikes!

cyndi just called me -- we misunderstood the portfolio assignment. you don't have to pick 3-4 standards, you just have to show how 3-4 of the assignments you've done fit into the portfolio. so all of your artifacts/assignments could fit under one standard.
also -- don't forget to read the article under course documents for friday.

So, when I wrote dropouts....I didn't mean that Carrie and Cindy are dropouts... :) I re-read that post and thought it was hilarious sounding.... :)

SO, Carrie I heard back from Connie Cook and she has us scheduled to interview her on Friday morning at 8:30. She said that we can meet her in her office 901 Locust. I will see you there....Cindy, I think Carrie has another interview set up for next week with the other gal we talked about ( I don't remember her name). Carrie, lets also set up a time to add the interview to the paper and finish the conclusion, yeah for us being done a WEEK EARLY!!!

Monday's project

So I'm blogging for the first time~ who knew I'd know how to do this....not too difficult really since it's like emailing. I like this better though since you can see everything that is written and it's just set up for a group, like our rockstar cohort! 

As far as Monday's project Emily, I think the diorama (sp?) would be hilarious! I'm totally picturing a kindergarten project I did...is it what I think it is? I used the inside of a shoe box to show the dinosaurs and where they lived. So will you have shoe box with students and teachers inside practicing the policy. This is gonna be good. 

I just did a powerpoint...and you're right! He was very vague on expectations!

School Policy and Practice

Has anyone decided what you are doing for your project for Monday?  I have not yet decided what policy/practice I want to do, but I think my end project is going to be one of two things: 1.) a diorama (sp?), or 2.) an iMovie with music and narration and cool pictures.

I really want to do a diorama because I just think it's funny that we are doing a "project" (with very few guidelines) for a "non-project-type" class...  I think it would be goofy and silly, but it also might take a heck of a long time...  A diorama is totally like a second-grade project that I'd be doing for my Masters degree.  :-)
